Vasilis Ballas is a software developer & designer with a focus on web applications. He has worked as a Full Stack Developer in the Assets and Maintenance Management Group of CERN in Switzerland and as a Web development intern at the greek IoT company Centaur Analytics. He is a postgraduate student in the MSc by Research “Intelligent Information Systems” at the University of the Aegean and has a Bachelor in Computer Science from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). In his Bachelor Thesis, Vasilis worked on designing and developing an open Feedback platform for the Greek Digital Governance services. His Master research and Dissertation focus on automating Feedback collection from Google Play Store reviews for mobile applications with the use of Sentiment Analysis models. The first article of this research will be presented in the HCI International 2024 conference in Washington D.C. and will be published in the Springer magazine. His research interests revolve around the fields of: (a) Improving User Experience, (b) Cognitive Psychology and (c) UI Design and Development.
