The purpose of this case study is to create an augmented reality application of the Dixit board game using one of the applications: Layar, Aurasma, ZapWorks.

Requirements:

Layar or Aurasma or ZapWorks developer account for managing Designer tools./A Gmail account./Server with public IP/domain where you will store actual content. (maybe some of them support content hosting)/Mobile device having browser support./Small experience in JSON programming.

Interactive digital storytelling in archaeological museums

Description

The main purpose of the specific project is to create multiple interactive media museum stories by choosing one or two museums as their main goals. After choosing the idea and content of our story, we place it in the “natural” world and create the digital content of the story using multi-tools and AR apps. The next step is the implementation of the final product and its production by giving the necessary roles and profiles. The “CHESS” project of the Acropolis Museum could be our guide.

Ubiquitous computing: building a Smart Agent

Basic idea: Smart agent / software agent is the software that can interact with users and make sensible decisions based on real interactions between users. Using the API software, the purpose is to create a smartphone application that allows the user to communicate via voice commands or text with smart agent and interact with his device.

Security and Privacy issues in ubiquitous computing

Basic idea: With the use of devices that communicate with each other, diffuse computing aims to enrich the daily life of users with digital infrastructure. An important issue of diffusive computing is the security of these devices that both their location and their data are exposed to the general public as well as the privacy of the users who use them. The aim is bibliographic research on security and privacy issues in communication and user interaction with smart devices

Ambient Assisted Living

Description

Basic Idea: Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) is essentially one of the first UbiComp implementations in the overall Smart Health field, providing partial independence to people in need of medical care. The recording of the evolution of AAL is of particular interest as one of the most popular applications of the philosophy of Ubiquitous Computing.
