Eirini Kalatha is a PHD candidate in the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication, University of the Aegean, in the field of Serious games with emotional awareness and their implementation on adult education and culture. In 2016, she received a Master of Arts in “Education and Disability. Le dinamiche emotivo-affettive” from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and in 2013, received a Master of Science in” Cultural Informatics and Communication” at the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication of the University of the Aegean. In 2012, she graduated from the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics of University of Thessaly. Her research includes serious games, affective computing, human-computer interaction (HCI), neuroscience of education, digital culture, adult education, educational technology and cultural education.
